A ton of bugfixes for various crashes, weirdness and a nasty combat-ending bug. Also added more follower tasks and types – including special demonic followers for wizards with the Demon trait.
Added the first Earth magic spells – Shardstorm (combat dmg+slow), Stoneskin (buff), and Summon Mudmen (who needs Terracotta soldiers when you can have Mudmen?).
The first iteration of the recruitment mechanics are also implemented. You now how to assign a follower of a martial class to train a regiment, as well actually have available recruits. Settlements and fortresses generate recruits. In future iterations, recruit pools can have varying cost and quality depending on the culture and demographic they come from and other conditions. Some regiment types might require special recruits, resources and/or trainers.
A lot of stability and crashfixes are in, but I still feel the current version is a bit rough. So if you are allergic to crashes and weirdness – don’t test the Mudmen and Demonic followers update yet.
WinXP users get .NET 4.0: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=17851 instead of 4.5 (which is not compatible with XP).
