Improved the generation and seeding of provinces so they follow geographic boundaries a lot better. Seeding of cities, village and fortress also completely reworked. I fixed a bunch of bugs, most of them in the world generation code, but also a few related to random events and combat. Working on new mechanics for the Wizard Tower – which I am very excited about. The upgrade system is being changed, so that a Wizard Tower will have a certain number of upgrade slots, limiting the number and type of upgrades available. When a certain number of upgrades have been build and the necessary research has been done, the tower can be upgraded to a new level, with more slots, better stats, etc. I will try and write a post on the design for this feature – which can then double as documentation once it is fully implemented. It ties into some changes to research system, which I will elaborate on when I get to them.
